I have had a ganlion cyst in my left wrist about the size of a pea for over eight years. I had it long before I got rsd. My dr said to just leave it alone unless it hurts. It doesn't hurt or bother me and hasn't grown since I got it. My rsd is in my right wrist too. So I don't know if there is a correlation between the two, but my pm dr never said there was. If it bothers you I would ask your pm dr what he thinks you should do, but if it's in your rsd site, then they probably won't touch it. My pm dr said that they don't like doing surgery in the initial rsd site because of fear of spread. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.

Have you ever heard of or used Young Living essential oils? They are therapudic grade oils. My sister had two ganglion cysts & with these oils, they are now gone! They have helped many people with cysts. The two oils that work on the cysts are Oregano & Thyme. I know that it sounds weird, but I wanted to give you an alternative to having it aspirated. If you want to try the oils, just make sure they are therapudic grade & put a drop of each oil a couple of times a day. If you want more info, send me a pm!

Hola Renee. In my experience, there is ALWAYS a connection, even when things seem completely random and unrelated. The human body is like a road map that shows us where and what our stresses are. Most stresses we are not even aware of consciously.

There's an app for the iPhone called "Heal Your Body A-Z" based on the work of Louise Hay. Yes it appears to be new age hippie technobabble - and maybe it is to an extent - but it contains a list of hundreds of physical diseases and ailments, and the mental conditions that cause them. It's a good intro to start putting some pieces together as far as how the mind-body connection really works.

If you don't have an iPhone there are books you can order off amazon pretty cheaply.
