Just wondering, has anyone else has seen Dr. Rosenberg in Walnut Creek at the Integrated Pain Management Group? I have only been going there for about 3 visits, but I am trying to decide whether I want to continue going to see him. He is a nice person, but during the first visit, he said that he actually doesn't see patients anymore and only does QME and depositions, but "who doesn't like a good CRPS case" every now and then. My reaction was mixed because I guess I should be glad that he wants to see me, but at the same time, I am wondering why. Then during the second appointment, he is saying he isn't sure what I have in my left foot is CRPS. I have had CRPS in my left foot since 1996 after I sprained my ankle at work. I really do know what this condition feels like because I injured my left hand in 1995 at home and promptly got it in my left hand. What luck, huh? Two separate injuries in two years and the same condition in both. My hand is in a sort of remission after 10 or 12 stellate ganglion blocks, but if I hold something cold in my hand I will scream in pain. I also have less strength in it and if I am in a lot of stress, my hand will hurt.
Just because my foot doesn't turn colors and swell like it used to, doesn't mean I don't have pain in it and that I don't have the condition anymore. Is it really worth my time to continue with this doctor if this is the way it starts? |

Bunnehead: nope, I don't know anything about this Doc. BUT, I am a believer in following our gut feeling. Listen to that little voice. ~Lottie
