Boy Sue,
i would not take a chance with that leg. i have a rule of thumb, unless a pain is so severe i that i am scared to death [and that has happened, and i have gone all the way to Boston to have something checked that very day], i put heat on the area, take ibuprophen every 6 hours to take the swelling down, and i wait 24 hours, and if i feel better, i wait another 24, if still i do not improve, i call. a bruise will feel i bit better in a day of two, but a break will not. please let me know how you are tomorrow. my toe is better today i cut a bit more of the nail off one side and took ibuprophen and i was able to keep the shoe on today. so, i think i caught it right before it inflammed. i hope. and please always ask, when will i not have problems???? ha! never! love, joan
