Default Hello, its been a while. What's going on with me.

I read your stories often, some cheer me up and my heart goes out for others. I used to post more, but the rsd is getting meaner and often stops me from doing much of the things I enjoy.

After my rsd started flaring every week, and I started getting blocks again. I had a block 6 weeks ago and the doc said he wanted to do them every two weeks to calm the rsd. It has been going STRONG for the last year. So I have the first block and it was good, it really helped. So the doc says I'll get another in two weeks. Yjey usually call on the day before the injection, but I heard nothing. Just before they were to close I called and asked if there was a problem because they hadn't called. They tell me I'm not on the list, and they cannot find any paperwork saying I was getting a block.

So, I call my docs office the next day (I was supposed to get the injection that day) and they found the papers, someone 'forgot' to take them over. So then they scheduled another block for the following week, and I get the block and it really helped. They tell me in 2 weeks I was to get another block. Believe it or not, the same thing happened with the papers not getting to the people who schedule blocks. So, no block. Frustrated, and my hand going into fits I called and asked could they please get me in soon. They said I could get a block on Friday. That was last week, Thursday they called and said my doc quit.

Now the clinic has scheduled me to meet another doc and they had the nerve to tell if I missed an appointment they would drop me. Very nicely I told them I should've dropped them twice for the same reason.

So anyway I go to them on Friday this week and see what happens.

The first block worked great, but the aggravation and pain got increasingly worse. Now, I am in even more pain wondering why I even bothered.

I have a question for those receiving blocks, they should be constant I've been told, but I seemed to have gotten worse with the 2 out of 5 blocks that I received. I am thinking its worse because when I get upset and/or angry my rsd flares like crazy. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
