Default snail venom for RSD?

Has anyone experienced snail venom? They say my clinic is using it in an implanted pain pump to the spine. No addiction or side effects.

It is called Prialt and PLEASE do your research before having this medication put into your pump. It is a non-narcotic, so it less likely for patients to develop a dependence. However, there ARE several side effects to this medication, one of which includes serious psychiatric side effects. Here is a link I found on the description of the medication, a study conducted on it and its side effects.

http://www.rxlist.com/prialt-side-ef...rug-center.htm

Hope this helps! My PM talked to me about this medication, as well, and when I saw the list of side effects I decided against it. It has, however, worked well for others. Every person is different. I just happen to have a LOT of drug allergies and was not up to having a pain pump implanted in me when I had other options.

Good luck and my thoughts and prayers are with you!

I will for sure make more research just in case before do anything invasive and have the possibility to spread rsd for triggers flares.
Check this site just in case , http://www.thblack.com/links/RSD/newcomers.htm ,www.rsds.org and www.rsdhope.org
And hope you get more clear ideas of what is legal and safe for us to try ,wishing you the best with gentle loving hugs,Jesika .
