Recently the FDA has named CRPS as a rare disorder. This is really good news because now studies can be done on new medications for CRPS. Hopefully this will increase funding for researchers searching for a better treatment. I know in the U.S. we always seem to be playing catch-up on medication and other treatments. It would be great in a few years if they create a medication that can help some of us cut down on the number of medications we take. I know it will take a while to see results of this but it is still promising.
