Just reading what's going on for you and am concerned...
Maybe odd question but I'm wondering if you have Diabetes? Did they even test your insulin levels in the ambulance or at the hospital? |

I would definitely NOT attribute all things to CPRS as a general rule. If something freaky and new happens it needs to get worked up just like in anybody else. There are some concerns like Lit Love raised with stroke that maybe need to be ruled out. Is everything in your neck okay? Any prior problems there that could contribute? See your neuro for sure. We don't have to like our doctors, we just have to have confidence in ther ability.
Are you sure it was Ambien they gave you? I think that is oral only, an atypical hypnotic used for sleep. Can't imagine it having a use in Emergency Medicine. Ativan perhaps? Comes in multiple forms and used in ER regularly. Just thougt you might want to double check so you know for sure what they gave you.... Might be worth a call to your Stanford person too, they might need this info. Hang in there, sorry you are going through so much ![]() Sending Healing Love, Littlepaw |
