First thing my neurologist did was a EMG. She pricked me slightly with a pin like needle slightly to see if my CRSP had damaged any nerves and it was used to tell exactly which nerves were involved. As far as pain I did feel some discomfort when she used electricity to conduct the test. But it was manageable. No flare ups afterwards but that's not to say you won't have any. All I can say is that it's a needed test for evaluation purposes. Good luck to ya and I hope you find some sort of relief... ![]()
