Default How do you like to handle flares?

How do you handle flares? What works for you? A busy weekend definitely set me off. I was in the kitchen preparing a late breakfast and just felt like I wanted to cry. It kind of startled me, because I'm not usually a crier. Then it dawned on me I often feel like that at night after a busy day, which is one of my key symptoms of my body telling me I'm about to have a flare.

So now that I recognize it, I'm wondering. What do you do on flare days? Do you just hunker down, cancel appointments, and let yourself hurt? Couch/blanket/DVD? Or do you go for baths, meds, herbal therapies... What's your proven method of dealing? It would be great to have a few different things to try.

Hi, good question....typical answer on my part...it depends...what type of flare; which part of the body is flaring....full body...so how I deal with it changes as the types of flares I experience....
