Default Just sayin'...

Since I can't sleep due to my legs hurting and burning I might as well type something.
First off I would thank my friends and others that I've grown to love here.
That being said I'll get to my situation.
Lately I've not been on here much but I always read.
A new symptom of my shrinking cerebellum is if I sleep on my back I run the risk of coking on my tongue. A symptom explained to me by my neurologist.
I got my dog to sleep against my back as I lay on my right side. Works rather well!
Three times already I've been woke up feeling like I was choking on a large jaw breaker. Man talk about scary!
Not to freak anyone out but I just hope I go to one of the worlds where I can still help out some how...
Love you all...

Dearest Russ,

I suspect you will always be helping out somehow no matter where you are. Don't underestimate the power of positive thought and love you send out even when you don't feel able to type. Who can measure the magnitude of good you do with it?

Your sweet Ibiza! Love on that dog today for me will ya? And I am sending more hugs to you too. On a practical note, they make different types of sleep wedges for just such a need. I have a Laz boy in my bedroom which is also good for elevating. Nothing beats snuggling with your dog though...

Love you too
Littlepaw

So good to hear from you again and your sharing....that is very scary; I don't want to go to sleep for other reasons...I am having a difficult time with my fingers going numb...I wait up to the pain as I try to get circulation back....I think mine has to do with my neck and how I am sleeping...so Kudos for your dog having your back...pun intended....
wish you a better nights rest w/o 'chocking' .....

Cool Smirk

Russ,
There is nothing quite so comforting as a dog pressed up asleep against you. I cannot bear the slightest touch - even my clothes, or a sheet over me - due to my Hypersensitivity. But my Daughter's dog, Jasper, lays alongside me all night when he stays, bringing such deep emotion.

Your serious issue and deterioration are of concern to all of us. Please take care of yourself.

Dave.
