Default Odd question...lawn care
My son and daughter are pretty awesome taking care of my lawn but I am looking to become more independent so I am looking into a riding mower that I can attach a snow plow to. My son brought up a good question...will I be able to tolerate the bounce? I have a relatively flat yard, but bounce is inevitable. Does anyone know a particular model/brand/etc that wouldn't bounce much?

Independence doesn't have to mean you have to do everything yourself. It can mean paying to have work done as well.

It depends how hypersensitive you are to vibration. I would never ever consider riding on anything like that.

LL...You are so awesome! I love how you gently remind newbies such as myself of the many ways to accommodate! I still struggle (and probably will for a long time) with letting go of doing everything myself. One of our main roads has been under construction all spring/summer and the major bumps are definitely bothersome. Maybe I should borrow my ex-husbands rider to see if/what I can tolerate before looking any further.

I am in the process of that very thing! I want to not only be independent as possible, I figured out a way of never mowing again.
This solution might not be your cup of tea but it reminds me of the southwest.
Cover your lawn with lawn cloth then cover that with gravel. All my trees seem to like it and that takes care my weeds too.
It's a lot of work but worth it...
