thanks everyone for your kindness. i am feeling a little better but am going to gp today to see if he can check my heart. i've had some trouble breathing during my last flare and want an ekg done just to make sure my ticker is working right. i'm sort of scared because i also have a skin infection on my head and neck that my pm dr said was from rsd and it burns so much so i am going to see if my gp can give me an antibiotic for it. i am really nervous about going to the dr but i know i have to go. i hope everyone else is feeling better today too and that your flares have subsided. i wish you all a pain free as possible week. thank you all again for caring so much!

If you don't get the skin thing cleared up you may want to see dermatology. I had a rash one doc thought was just neurogenic CRPS stuff but it came up suddenly so I knew otherwise. Then a couple docs saw it because I had follow ups scheduled and thought it was shingles (on my CRPS foot). I finally went to dermatology when it didn't clear, she did a biopsy because it just looked weird and of all things I had athletes foot on the top of the foot in an atypical presentation. It wasn't CRPS at all. Crazy! Maybe our CRPS limbs are just more susceptible to other stuff.

thanks littlepaw! my dr thinks i have some kind of skin infection and prescribed a medicated ointment that i am to use every nite and a prescription shampoo which i have to use every other day until the infection clears. he thinks its an infection and that may have been caused by rsd but is not sure. either way he said to try the prescriptions first before the more invasive nerveblocks and i am ok with that too. my ekg was also done but i didn't get results back yet. will get a call by tomorrow. hopefully that will be nothing but stress. thanks again for your great advice. i really appreciate it. i had thought of shingles but he said no. thank goodness for that! hope you all have a good nite. i am glad i don't have anything serious on my head so i think i will sleep better just because i am so relieved. soft hugs to all.

In the past I had sores (possibly psoriasis, although the derm did not diagnose it as such) all over my legs which only resolved with occlusion therapy, essentially scotch tape and/or Saran Wrap. Recently I had deep, strange sores on my RSD leg which resolved with the same therapy.

Have you tried organic apple cider vinegar with the mother?
