Post Trying out Quell (wearable intensive nerve stimulation)

Good Evening Friends,

I wanted to share something that I am trying for the first time this evening. I recently saw a Post of Facebook on a device called Quell which is similar to TENS but this is a device that you can wear all day/night. A News segment had done a story on the device and hope it was bringing to pain patients. I am always looking for hope and light at the end of the tunnel so I did a bunch of research and later that day purchased it online.

The device cost $250 which includes the sports band, a month worth of electrodes and it also has a free App for smart phones to help record therapy. If it doesn't work, the company offers a 60 day $ back guarantee. Hopefully it will work.

It came pretty quickly in the mail (2 days) and was charged up upon opening. It took a few minutes to calibrate and now as I sit here typing this I can feel little buzzes (feels like my calf is asleep).

The device works like this: You attach it to your upper calf and turn it on. It switches atomically between 60 mins of "therapy" and 60 minutes of rest all day and through the night. In the night it is much milder so not to wake you. I have pretty severe CRPS in both feet and so far this isn't hurting me. I am also thinking I could turn down the intensity but the feeling doesn't hurt.

I know this is not a Miracle and will not cure CRPS but it is my hope that it will reduce my pain and help me to rehabilitate my feet. Has anyone else tried this?

I will keep updating this post to give everyone some insight to this little device & hopefully this can bring some relief to our world of constant pain.

Hope everyone has a blessed week
