Yeah, you survived.

It might be worth a phone call to ask if the area of numbness you are having is in the nerve distribution they were going for. There could be some overlap or they could've not quite hit the spot. Did you have any warming of your limb? This is a normal reaction to sympathetic block whether a person has CRPS or not.

I hope you get some relief! It may not be immediate...
