Why not play the 4th by ear? Be prepared for anything - sunglasses and ear plugs can easily be put away on Thursday if you don't use them! Or, if you get some of the guys to give you a hand up the stairs then you could watch the fireworks from indoors? especially if you can rest at the same time by stealing someones bed whilst looking out the window (can you tell I have done this one before?).

What/ Where is Friendlys'? It sounds rather like Chucky Cheese! ! Going to the mall would be awesome - and as it will just be you with the grampies then there are 2 of you to push you as needed - so if you try not to go OTT on the pushing etc then hopefully you won't flare stupid thing up too much! (Silly question I know, but as you don't go out that much for "you" why not decide now which shops you are going to look at before hand??).

Ok. I have forgotten everything else I was going to say Oops.. .

Take the camera!!! and please take a photo of the cake..!!!

Love ya tons babes!!

Ice cream cake- cake made out of ice cream with chocolate crunchies in between layers and a whipped cream topping. We usually get ours here (this brand I mean):
http://www.giftchecksolutions.com/carvel/carvel.php

Yup!! We always get a big cake so there's enough for everyone!

Now, my turn to ask you: what is a jelly pool? I haven't ever heard of it... though I am not much for jelly stuffed donuts or cookies or the like...

Yes, I should play it by ear about the fireworks. We won't have them at our house (it's illegal to buy them where we live) so if I'd see them I would see them about 20-30 minutes away at a park that does them.

Friendly's!! I love them!! Okay, here's a site to look at to know more about them: http://www.friendlys.com/ Not a fancy restaurant but not like fast food. You sit down and a waiter/ waitress takes your order, and you can get appetizers to eat while you wait for your meal- they have hamburgers, salads, sandwiches, soups, and THE best dessert!!

That's my plan: ask grammy and pop to push me (they'd already said they would), that way I'll be less in pain that evening for the cake and birthday dinner (we always have a BBQ for my birthday, being on the 4th! ).

OF COURSE!! Will take lots of pics... I always get plenty of the party! But I might try and take it shopping that way I can have someone take pics at the restaurant and maybe shopping?! And will take pics of the cake- since you can't be here, I'll try and make you feel like you were!

Stores- yes!! I want to plan ahead of time (gives me something to think of other than pain!)- I already have a gift card with about $15 left on it to "Boscovs" (housewares, garden, CLOTHES, like Walmart but fancier!), and I wanna go to Bath and Body Works (remember, I was asking you if you have them in the UK? http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/home/index.jsp) because they have a semi annual sale right on my birthday! and then I guess there's always "Claires" (girly store with hair stuff, pocket books, jewelry and the like, here's their site: http://www.claires.com/), "Hallmark" (cards and feminine stuff http://www.hallmark.com/webapp/wcs/s...1%7c10051%7c-1) and music stores... man, this is getting long!! I put in all the sites so you can see each store exactly- thought that'd be fun!

Chucky Cheese- my sibs have been there lots but I haven't ever been there!! Friendly's is more grown up-pish!

Will show you plenty of pics- no worry there!!

Ok, thanks for the fun ideas and chatter! Love you babe!

Happy Happy Birthday IHH!!! w00t!!!

You have a wonderful independence birthday. What a cool day to have it, might I add

ICE CREAM CAKE!!!! ICE CREAM CAKE!!!! ICE CREAM CAKE!!!! I absolutely adore them, and haven't been able to find one at the grocery store since we moved here Frogga, ice cream cake is a thin (approx. 1/2 - 3/4 " thick) cake that you roll up with ice cream, like a cinnamon bun is rolled. Lots of people frost them, but the ones in the grocery store are plain, which is how I like them. Frosting can be too rich and sweet for me.

So IHH, eat an extra piece for me, and enjoy yourself at the mall. Buy something that smells pretty.

I hope it doesn't cause you too much pain on the 5th... but it'll be worth it anyway. Here are two spoons in advance, darlin.

Huggers,
Rogue

Hey IHH

Whoops. I forgot that you Americans have such weird words for things. Like your Jelly, is our Jam etc. However, I think that the equivalent of UK Jelly is Jello - it's made of gelatine and is made into a big wobbly dessert of various flavours, eg raspberry or strawberry and tastes awesome with icecream!

The ice cream cake looks awesome! I'm planning on showing it to a couple of mates and seeing if we can have a go at making it ourselves. Well, when it's warmer! We actually had HAIL today! BIG HUGE pieces, apparently the car got dented by some of them! Weird weird UK!

I may not be around much at the moment because I had an RSD spack fit this morning and hit my bed tray, sending my laptop and a mug of green tea everywhere - and my laptop has exploded. Gr! Such fun! Oh well.

Have an awesome day tomorrow...!!!

Love ya tons babes!!
