Default Go blue update

I just wanted to update all of that helped me through my foot surgeries last summer. I am doing really well these days. Found out I was allergic to titanium from the screw which partial reason I had issues and pain from 2013 sugery. Having screw removed was tough with incision opening another surgery to close it then allegeric reaction to creams and guaze. 3 months of missed work.

I am now back to work full time, feeling good. I completely 3 Mos of physical therapy to help with scar tissue and flexibility. Made progress but stopped Dec 30th because of new deductible for 2016.

I still have minor nerve issues which I attribute to all the scar tissue. I can wear loafers and boots for short periods of time working my way to longer. Haven't done back to back days at work yet but I will get there.

Now trying to work with podiatrist to get orthotics to support foot and ease knee pain for opposite leg (I am starting to suffer from TMB (too many birthdays)). Tough process to get one comfortable in surgery foot.

I am happy to report the anxiety around crps is gone. I am fortunate to not have the diagnosis and got through it with all of your support.

I wanted to thank you all who followed my story and offered support and encouragement during my struggles and uncertainty on diagnoses. I wish you all best of luck in healing and finding answers. Wishing more good days in on the road ahead.

Thank you.

Yeah GoBlue!

That is such great news. I'm sorry you had to go through so much to get better. I know it was a long road but how wonderful to be recovering and to know that it wasn't CRPS after all. You must be tremendously relieved.

It was an honor sharing some of your journey with you. Thanks for coming to give us an update!

Now go on. Get outta here!
