My youngest son called last night to let me know he was alive but heading to the ER as he crashed his snowmobile and was thrown off. Thankfully, he was wearing a helmet and all x-rays were negative for fractures. All the emergency personnel were a bit surprised that he walked away with only bruises.
Today, he is incredibly sore...mostly down his left side. He has an appointment with an ortho on Friday and will be trying to get in to his PCP tomorrow. Naturally, I am worried about longer-term effects and very anxious that I am not able to accompany him to the doctor appointments or see him myself. I would greatly appreciate y'all keeping him in your thoughts.
