Hey Spike,
I literally have pretty much the same exact issues. I completely changed up my diet by eating much healthier, not such big portions and not eating till I felt full. At first I cut out junk foods, soda, fast foods, etc. Then slowly once in awhile I would treat myself but with much smaller portions than before. But man, when I cheat and treat myself to something, I am almost immediately regretting it. No need to go into detail, since we have all had our share of these occurances, lets just say that I have spent way too many nights on the floor from the nausea(which has been pretty frequent for me). But I am a foodie, through and through. Always have been and always will be. However now, I really try to either have very little of that "cheat treat" or try to replace it with something else thats similar. Honestly for me its a difficult battle because I have other stomach/complexities that add to it. I do wonder sometimes if I have a problem with gluten, that maybe something you also want to look into as I have been. But I will say that a huge help has been Peppermint Tea. Hot or cold. I like to buy it in its natural form(crushed up dryed leaves/stems), I also grow it in my home and outside garden, so that I always have it in the house. Plus it has some other positive benefits for your internal systems. Just add honey or sugar, but I find that the honey has a better affect. I also began smoking medical marijuana(which I absolutely feel helps tremendously, especially when the pain and or nausea is just way to much to bare)as well as making butter and oil to cook with my food. So if you are a tea person, I would definitely give this a try, do a little experiment or a few. Especially before and after you eat those "cheat treats." Hopefully you find some relief. ![]() |
