Default Memory Foam

My older daughter brought me a shopping bag full of items to get me through my recent surgery. At first I ignored the big, black DearFoam slippers she had in the bag, because I have found that anything I put on my CRPS foot seems to keep it insulated instead of heated, like its a nasty, big block of ice-only a heating pad seemed to ever help me, that is until I wore those slippers with my Correct Toes. My foot got warm and stayed warm. I assume it is the thick memory foam in the slippers which is causing the reaction, coupled with the increased circulation of the CTs.

It makes me wonder if a throw made with memory foam would be as effective as an electric one is or if a memory foam "sling" could protect a cold CRPS limb when traveling.
