Thanks for the updates! The fevers are a cause for concern because they are an indication of infection however they can also indicate inflammation typically inflammation of the joints.
Do you have someone at home that can look at injection site on your back? If you do, or if you can look at in a mirror by yourself, look for signs of infection. Check for redness, warmth, discharge or drainage these are also signs of infections.
Always check with your doctor before taking additional medications. You may find it helpful to alternate between Tylenol and ibuprofen throughout the day to help control your fever.
I know that some literature states that lumbar sympathetic blocks can be used as a diagnostic tool. However, it shouldn't be the only diagnostic tool used, at least that's what I have read.
