Hi Dawn! Gosh, it really IS so HARD to have to relocate on such short notice, even though it sounds like a wonderful opportunity!!

Maybe give a "heads up" to your Pain Doc ASAP so that he can start getting ALL your medical records copied and in order? Also, maybe his office can bake arrangements ahead of time with a NEW Pain Doctor is Tuscon, so that when you DO arrive, you won't have to WAIT for your initial consultation and so on.

Also, maybe your Pain Doc will be able to give you AMPLE refills of all your meds BEFORE you head out to Tuscon, just to "keep you covered", should there be a delay getting hooked up with a new Doctor?

Hey--if your hubby's company is going to PAY for the move, maybe there wuld be a way for the moving company to pack up "non-essentials" ahead of time...under YOUR supervision! That way, you don't have to "lift a finger", and you can be sure that sentimental items and things of that nature are PROPERLY packed CAREFULLY!!

It sure is OVERWHELMING having to deal with all this extra stuff! Maybe start making a list of things that need to be done ober the next two months, and by what date..you know, the good old "Honey-do and "Others-do" list !!

Do you have some friends that could help with the more personal items? maybe you could have a "packing party", with some great music, refreshments and be amongst great company, take pix of the "organized chaos" and make it a little more fun!

Just some thoughts...

Sure sounds like an exciting opportunity!
