Has anyone experienced this and/or had cryotherapy to repair? I had a retinal tear on 7/7 had emergency laser repair which did not cause any RSD problems but now retina specialist says I must have cryotherapy, which is super cold liquid nitrogen to finish repairing this or risk retinal detachment. He has never done this on a person with RSD and as per usual with doctors I have encountered does not know much about it. He did say the procedure does affect the optic nerve and causes the "brain freeze ice cream" type headache almost all the time. Thanks.

You risk far more not having it done (your eye!), so then it's a choice that's easy to make.
