ok. i have to jump in here. i vote jake's in treasure beach, jamaica. http://www.jakeshotel.com/ it's the most divine place i've ever been...

sippin' a red stripe. eating all day long. licking the salt water off my lips after a dive. shuffling thru sugary sand. hot. i'm probably going to take a fiction book that is just pure smut (as i can't stand those reads and usually read non-fiction). i'll read. if i have time.

i will sleep in my ocean front cottage and listen to the waves ebb and flow. waking up to be the first to dig my toes into the sand - the first to choose a beach chair - the first to take a dive into bliss.

i'll have my mp3 loaded with enya and maybe some michael buble or harry connick would do just fine. i think i would bring my bongos and play with the townies and laugh into the night.

no shoes.

and i would be served without expectation of a tip. i would find fresh flowers waiting to be sniffed each morning. and a bowl of freshly cut pineapple to start the day.

no worries.

i'm gone....

I have never been to this location but the first chance I get I'm going. I would love to take you all with me - look at the link and let me know:

Christine,

I would love to go to Trunk Bay. I was there years ago - like 20. I was on a cruise and that was an excursion. If you see that big rock, there's an underwater tour to swim around to the left. There are signs under the water. The landscape was absolutely untouched. Iguanas everywhere. Nothing around. I hope it hasn't changed. It was so prestine and untouched. I hope it's stayed that way. One bad thing, is that there weren't any hotels close. So, you needed to travel there - but could only be there for an excursion. No beachfront property (atleast there wasn't years ago). I'd pitch a tent!

Only one thing - money. Details, details.

But, we can all dream can't we?

Unrouley,

Thank you for that address. How wonderful that would be. I've not seen any resorts in Jamaica, was there on a cruise for my honeymoon. You can't beat the oceanfront villas I bet. How relaxing. I bet we can all use a little bit of relaxation - pain free.

Today during my meditation time, I'll dream of being in Jamaica and Truck Bay. Atleast I'll get away for a few minutes. I'll even find ocean sounds on my ipod... Sitting by the beach - water lapping over my feet - toes in the sand.

Oh boy, I want to go...
