Years ago, before RSD, I was at first misdiagnosed with eczema, which ultimately turned out to be a unresponsive case of folliculitus on both my legs. It was horrible.

When I told the doctor that my Dad's folliculitis was treated with stronger and stronger antibiotics that led to C diff, which then led to his death, she chose to treat me with laser hair removal. I never thought it would be appoved by insurance, but lucky for me it was. And it worked beautifully.

Btw, the icthammol ointment seems to be helping my CRPS rashes, it has calmed done the itchiness.

This was unusual in the severity due to the flare, but I've had skin issues going on for a really long time. It started maybe a year after the RSD. It cleared up in the hospital so I don't know if I was on antibiotics? Or maybe the hospital body wash had something in it? When I swim a few times a week, the chlorine clears me up. Soaking in a bath with a cup of bleach helps as well, but never mix Epsom salt in, because they react to each other.

I received my Vick's in the mail finally and I've applied it so I'll let you know how it's working in a few days.

Btw, I had a blown vein that had hardly changed even after 3+ weeks. A friend suggested I try Arnicare for another pain/swelling option. It helps a bit for that, but it cleared the bruise in 2 days! I put some on my stitch areas and they seemed much less red later in the day.
