some times if your liver refuses to breakdown medications, the kidneys have to over work and that can cause problems. my liver refuses most meds. but as for direct kidney problems from RSD i have not heard about anything like that. but didn't i just see a thread mention kidney stones??? or am i losing my mind .. which i often do.

Howdy Amber,
I have some renal problems but they came about as a result of secondary issues I have had from my RSD like septicaemia. Creatinine and protein abnormalities can be sometimes as a result of hypertension, smoking, diabetes and sometimes dietery consumption of protein. The fact that you have a family history of renal problems certainly points to perhaps this being more likely the cause. There are very many more tests that would give a better reflection of your renal function--I hope he orders those if he is concerned. Fingers crossed for you Amber Tayla ![]() |
