Default One of those days

Ok...today is one of those days. I spent the weekend in NJ/NYC. Went to 2 Broadway shows (in one day), goofed off with my 2 daughters and a roommate, Played WII, (it is so much fun) came home sunday, today went to see PM. He is sending me to Georgetown University Hospital next week to meet with the PMs up there. They are covered by my insurance, and they will set me up to get a block for my right foot and start the works for a scs. of course, the appt is 9.00 am and I live about 3 hrs away. that ok...feet are swollen, painful, can't walk, and all of a sudden hubby yells that the horses are loose. I throw on some shoes and run after them. (by the way, did I mention that I can't walk lol). ran back and got the car while hubby tried to catch them. long, scary story short, we got 2 of them of lead ropes, and the 3 just trotted behind the other two back to the house. I am now going to lay on the bed and die of pain. I can't believe that I could walk that fast to get to my boys. I guess it is like a mom whos child is in danger. not much I wouldn't do for them. My heart is still beating a mile a minute. It will get better honest. anyway, so far, that has been my day. Hope nothing else happens.

Mary

they say even those who can't walk will run if chased by a vicious dog or something like that...........i hear you wanted to save your horses so I am not surprised you "moved"....a bit like hearing how some people can do amazing things even when having a broken bone etc....

good for you ... I hope you are ok now too..... all the best!
