Default First day of school since being giagnosed with RSD

Hi there,
Many of you have asked me to post a thread on how I went on at school - so here it is.
I started school at 1pm, met all of my friends, Bethany, Gemma, Kayleigh, Abbie, and Andrea in my schools conferance room, we had a really good chat and all of my friends were pleased to see me.
A few people looked at me in the playground/classrooms etc.
I started my first lesson at 1.20pm. My friend, Andrea went and collected our work and then joined me in our schools library. We didn't get much work done because we were too busy chatting - lol !
My leg hurt a lot, I think it was the heat that was causing it
At 2.10pm it was change of lessons, I had French next. My other friend, Abbie, went to our classroom to collect our work. My French teacher didn't set us any work because she was too busy giving the rest of the children their results from their French test, so me and Abbie had to sit there chatting.
My leg hurt a lot and I got really tired. One of my teachers even had the cheek to ask if I could do PE. I said no because my foot is really painful and sensitive and I'm in a wheelchair and he said that I could play basketball in my wheelchair. I don't know whether he said it as a joke - but he is really dumb lol!
I really hope that my leg is going to get better, I am glad to see all of my friends and they were really helpful. I was sick of all the boys dishing dirty looks out though! Its as though they've never seen anyone in a wheelchair before !!!
The teachers had to keep changing my timetable around because some of my friends couldn't go out certain lessons so that was really annoying, plus one of my best friends that was supposed to be coming in the library with me could not because shes on crutches.
Starting school again was not as bad as I thought - the pain was really really bad though.
Pain free hugs
Alison
