Your prayers are so much appreciated, thank you! also,Ada, dear.. thank you so vey much!! Ada, your "so right on" about saying, it is so hard taking care of Bill and myself. Well, Bill is still in the hospital, I have been driving my daughter back and forth to school, making all my Dr. appointments. he put me on a stronger dose of the Sandoz(Maker of it?? or generic??) of Fentanyl. I was taking the 50 mcg/h of it... he now put me on the 75 MCG/HR of it. Man my insurance went up and it is not suppossed to. These patches for 10 of them(You wear 1 patch for 72 hrs. Tey cost me $84.93 with out insurance.. get this... $272.62 wow1 and this is for 10 patches(1 month supply) crazy!
Ok, now about Bill, yes he is still in the hospital. This Saturday will be 1 week in there for him. when he wasin iCU I was with him constantly(I was only allowed to see him 5 min. at a time, tough) He is only 58 yrs. old. He had a silent heartt attack for the 2nd. time. The first oe was in "06" All of this could have been prevented if only he had taken his insuline! I don't understand him?? He was in Viet nam for 3 yrs. was in contct with that damn Agent orange casing chemical. It is all through his blood. The government had everything all hush, hush.. anyone remember that? I don't! Anyway, it's true. They have to tell all now! anyway, his heart enzymes are still way to high, he has 60% of his heart muscle dead. They put the stents in him in "06" and they didn't take, they will still be there the rest of his life. There is no blood flowing n those arteries tat have been shut of.. dead. NOW, HIS HEART HAS TO PMP EVEN HARDER. |
wHAT THE HECK, SORRY ALL.. i WAS TYPING IN ALL CAPS AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, i ACCIDENTLY HIT "POST NEW REPLY" i WASN'T EVEN FINISHED?? Oh my now look at my letters<< Ok, I am back on track! Anyway, as I was saying is heart has to pump even harder and the dr.'s are doing more tests. he had a echo, a stress test, was off balance so he had a dye inserted into his veins. there were 4 doc's there with the paddles.. just in case. Anyway, please keep on praying. I have been doing everyting. I lost 10 lbs. I weigh 135 now, so in a way I am glad I lost the 10 Lbs. but I did it the hard way, no food. I couldn't eat.(Please don't ever do this.. starve yourselves to loose the weight!) Of course I didn't tell Bill. I don't know when he will be released. they are talking about sending him up to cleveland?? I will have to only drive 1 hr. or so.(which is not too far a drivea) I have a lot of help from my mom, dad, 4 sisters, 3 best friends, two grown sons with my daughter, as well as they are here for me. Well, I typed enough. Mywrist looks bad. swelled, hurting(not as much, as I only had this patch upped yesterday. i didn't put it on until I picked up my daughter from school, as I did not want to drive with her in the car, nor myself, as I need to know how I react to it. I get wayyyyyyyyyy too tired from it. I am hoping I get used to it by tues(The kids are off from school dueto Martin Luther King. Bill doesn't want me driving, so.. I will have to have mom, dad, one of my sisters, friends drive me up there. I hope i get used to it soon, as I need to be in control and hate when I have to ask family or friends. Just the way I am.. LOL Well, thanks again all.. keep those prayers going for Bill. I so appreciate it, as I appreciate and love you all! ~much love, Desi

Desi first you are in my prayers. second i know how you are feeling. my father was brought to MassGeneral by ambulance for chest pain and and shortness of breath. He had a quad-bypass, He was unconscous for 2 plus days. when he did wake up he was apparently a really nice guy. when they discontinued the sedation meds the following day, by dinner he wasnt making any sense when he talked and he was shaking violently. he is going through withdralls because he drinks ro much every day.
i will light a candle for Bill next to my father's. i am so sorry you are dealing with this,the worst part is not knowing what is going on or how much time each of new curveballs the people responsible for his recovery good luck and i will keep youu in my thoughts and prayers |
