Hey Ali
Any luck on the schooling front? Glad HT is going well!! tutor sounds good! I'm having a hard weekend at the moment pain wise. Saw my tutor on Friday and the department has discussed me and decided that I can resit in September if I really want to. Also they have decided that I will not retake this year.. as my tutor said "look how much worse you have got in 18 months, I worry you will not be able to study again in 2 1/2 years.." his point is when I qualify (as a psychologist) I will then be able to work part time if I need to and I won't have nearly as much work to do as I do at the moment!! Otherwise RSD is being really difficult - I've got one of my fave carers back which rocks so we've been hanging out. Problem with Bex is she can't stand James (ok, she can't stand Ben either - she gets jealous of them! then creates hell!). Which makes life pretty awkward sometimes, especially when he stays at mine. The weather is also sending my pain mad - bring on the summer!!! Can't handle this wind or cold at all! it's a nightmare!! Take care Love Rosie |

Frogga, so sorry for these scary potentially really dangerous episodes happening to you.. I was wondering are you on booster ketamine as I have day time hallucinations and other such wonderful things.?? this could be the cause. But he blacking out souds like your med combination is artifically pusing your blood pressure so low that you are passing out - very dangerous and scary. If you have a good pharamacist you co
![]() ]Good luck with your Neurologist when you go and see him, I hope everything goes OK. Please let us know how you get on. My pains increased because of the weather too, its not snowed a lot here but it is VERY windy and keeps raining. ![]() Take care You are in my thoughts PS: I hope you get good grades in your exams. I have just started home tuition, my tutor is really nice and friendly and he allows me to have breaks when the pain gets too bad.[/QUOTE] |

Hey Allan - thanks for the love mate!! How are you doing? It was actually sunny yesterday - WAHEY!
![]() Hey CZ - I don't have ketamine infusions - I take a lower oral dose of ketamine every day (up to 125mg a day) - I've been lucky never to get hallucinations! I haven't changed any of my meds at all and I've been on this combination for well over a year so I don't think it's meds - my mum is medical so I've had all the meds checked out. So it's probaly my body being dumb somewhere. Jaw and nose! ouch! That would hurt... The drs have discovered I have a random infection somewhere - they don't know what the infection is, they don't know where it is but apparently it's quite virilent - so now on loads of broad spectrum antibiotics - am kind hoping it's a spinal cord infection that will explain all the extra symptoms I have and thus the antibiotics will clear it up - but we'll see. My dr won't do surgery until my infection/ bizzare symptoms are explained or stop. Thanks all of you Love ya Frogga xxxxxxxx |

Hi Rosie, I continue to be gobsmacked by your story. ![]() Does your doctor know that you had a lengthy and violent fit yesterday? ![]() NOBODY should be allowed to fit as frequently as you do without proper investigation and treatment. I can't believe they know but are doing nothing. The UK is not third world, I realise the health system leaves a lot to be desired but there are some things that are just basic common sense. What medication are you on for your seizures? What does your mum say? Sorry for the questions but I am VERY worried for you and if I was your carer or family member, you would not be expected to live each day fitting. Please tell us Rosie if there is something I can do even from the other side of the world? love Tayla ![]() |
