Heart Fingers?

Oh, I'm so sorry...you must feel so miserable. I can not imagine how you are able to do it...honestly!

Can you get any help from anyone with the baby????

The electrical feelings you're describing don't seem familiar to me. My fingers constantly feel as though I just got done scraping ice off my windshield on a freezing morning. I can never warm them up and it's constant...my feet as well. They are so cold they burn... Do they feel like that as well?

Are they going to perform another block? When? The lack of sleep with a newborn can't help your nerves much either!

Please let me know...I hope you get some sleep tonight and you feel better tomorrow. I expect a slow day at work tomorrow so please post if you're able...I'll check in often!

Good night sweetie

Heart Heather...

Just a quick message to say that I also get the electrical shock feeling but in my toes. It is horrible.
Stay strong - you seem to be a fantastic mom. I don't know how you cope.
You are in my thoughts.
Love
Alison

Default Greyhound and Ali...

Thanks you two...

GreyHound,

My hands and feet are always freezing and sweaty...No matter how many pairs of socks or how high the heater is set, they don't warm up and it makes my bones ache really bad.

I have had 40 plus bilateral lumbar sympathetic blocks and only 1 Stellate Ganglion Block (because I was pregnant). I imagine since I am going back to my original Dr. that started doing all the blocks (sometimes 3 a week) that I will be doing one immediately. The one from 2 weeks ago has worn off.

I actually feel a bit better today. Sky was fussy last night, but Bry took charge and I got some sleep. Now I just got her down for a nap and I can play on the Computer for awhile...lol

Ali,

You are the sweetest 12 year old I have ever come across. You are AMAZING! You have a huge heart and you reach out to everyone. I would have never thought you were 12.

Thanks for telling me about your toes. That makes me feel better about my fingers.

Take Care Sweetie,
Heather

Heart Sleeping Beauty!

I'm so glad you were able to get some rest! A big thanx to all Bryon from ALL of us is in order.

I think it's great you're able to get so many SGB blocks as well and they are beneficial to you! Soon you will have even more relief I hope...

I can only hope, one day I start getting them. Hopefully I wont need up to 3 a week like you've had. (Poor woman!)

Allison, I certainly agree with Heather regarding your maturity. I've said it before, you are so well beyond your age. You're so strong and brave to be handling such a big burden and still be able to come here and give advice to others. You're an angel!

Heart Not at all!

No, when I went for the nerve block the doctor said she wanted to rule out other things like Lyme and R.A. She said CRPS in more than one extremity was rare and she wanted to rule out other possibilities.

She told me to go to the Rhuematologist and strongly felt it was CRPS that spread throughout my body and she was wrong!!!!!!!!

Now I have to wait for reports and tests and everything else!

I have great insurance...they've covered lots, it's just this effing doctor that's slowing things down. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
