I suppose I should start using my tens unit more often.
It tends to cause my tremor to get worse so I try to limit its use. Maybe if I tried it in the AM more it would work. |

Actually Imahotep, your TENS unit should be helping you with pain relief. It really wouldn't be part of a desensitization program. If it's hurting you or causing muscle tremors or spasms, you might have it up too high! At the right level a TENS can really help with pain control. Try a lower setting and maybe it won't aggravate your tremor. Hope this helps! If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or just ask!

Thanks. I'll give it a shot.
I've tried various settings so am not extremely hopeful. Perhaps using it with very low pain will enable very low settings and reduce the negative effects. I'll just try to err toward the low side for a while, whatever it takes. |
