Default Imitrex

Hello--
I was wondering if anyone has taken Imitrex for migraines. My daughter has been experiencing migraines recently. This last one is going on 7 days and she has already had two meds to try and stop it--neither worked, actually made it worse. I think Imitrex is next on the list-- anybody try this and how does it react with RSD?

Thanks for any input this morning as I was able to get her an appointment this morning.

Katherine

I'm sorry your daughter is struggling with migraines.... I completely understand... I get migraines at least 5 days per week.

I've used Imitrex.... but mine was in shot form which worked very well... the pills didn't work for me. I believe, my doctor said Imitrex also comes in a nasal spray....

Since using the needle became very painful for me and was flairing my RSD... The doctor switched me to Frova. Works fast but makes me very woozy and sleepy for a couple of hours. Migraine is usually gone in less than an hour.

I hope your daughter finds relief soon....
