My Dr. gave me this recipe and I believe it has been on here before but I wanted to put it up again. It is working for me if I can just remember to keep taking it.
1 lb. pitted prunes 1 lb. raisins 1 lb. figs 1 3 1/2 to 4 ozs. of Senna Tea {found in health food stores}. 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. lemon juice. Prepare tea: Use about 3 1/2 c. boiling water to a package of tea. Steep 5 minutes. Strain tea to remove leaves and add only 2 cups of tea to a large pot. Add fruit. Boil tea and fruit. Remove from heat. Add sugar and lemon juice, cool. Use food processor or blender to turn mixture into smooth paste. Place in air tight container and store in freezer. { It won't freeze} Take 1 to 2 tablespoons daily. I know this has been on here before as I said but it does work and I thought some of the newbies might like to try it. Ada |
