Hi,
I had a bone density test on my hands and the results were positive. That meant i had bone loss in my hands. My doc then ordered a hip and spine bone density test for me and the result were within normal. The doc confirmed that i had RSD in my hands. My question is what is the difference bet bone density test and the bone scan. Do i need a bone scan to confirm RSD in my hands. I try to avoid any needle to my hands if possible? Will my bone density test in my hands sufficient to offer a more objective finding beside the symptoms and signs and response to nerve block? Will the bone scan offer me any important additional information? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! Numb |
