I have also copied your post over to the medications forum as others there may have input for you my husband was on clonidine for his Tourette tics and high blood pressure and being on it was not a good experience for him...actually brought about a form of psychosis. The Doc took him off it quite rapidly IMO but he seemed to do ok failry soon after its withdrawal.
