Default Question

I was wondering if anyone else has ever had the problem of their bones hurting really bad and being overly sensitive? The last couple of days the bones in my right wrist have been acting this way that even the slightest touch hurts extremely bad. My right arm from my hand to my elbow has also been turning all red. But it hurts just to type this and to hold a pen.

Have you had a bone scan or xray of those areas lately?
RSD does cause changes in your bones. But it might be good to get it checked if this is something new.

No I haven't had an xray or anything since just after the accident. I'm still waiting for the nurse to set up an appointment with a hand specialist for me. She has to be the one to set it up because it was set up that way thru WC. Its getting harder and harder to fall asleep because of it too, I hope she hurries and gets that appointment set up.

How long have you been waiting for an appt to be set up?

my wc claim {oregon} and most of my coworkers, that i know of, were allowed to make our own appts, of course the employer wanted us to see the MCO dr first.
but after a time we could get our own drs involved.

I suppose each state is different as well as other countries.

But you shouldn't have to wait in pain for very long just to get an appt made...

If you haven't looked into your state or country's wc site yet , you should be sure to do that, to make sure you are utilizing as much info as you can find.

for example on Oregon's site you can look up settlements and claim results, judgments etc.

Mine do. My major pain is my inner ankle/foot/calf and that is for sure super sensitive that meaning no one touches it. My other body parts though feel very ache and very sensitive too. I am not sure if it is because when one body part aches the others do to or if it is because I don't like people to touch me cause I fear hurting so now my body is super sensitive. I have osteoporosis but my endo said that you don't feel that so to speak. You are just more prone to breaking a bone. I wonder though if in addition you may have fibromyalgia?

Have it in both feet & sometimes they hurt so bad it feels like I walk on bruises. And yes it is bone deep. I take Calicium with Vit D every day as I have osteopenia in my hip bones. Probably cause I don't walk enough cause it hurts too darn much. They either burn & ache or burn only or ache only all the time. My ankles feel sprained bone deep sometimes too.
