Default Still no surgery

Hi all,

Well, still no date for the scs revision. I called the hospital and the gal that I talked to was off, so I tried to explain to the other gal what was going on. Long story short, everyone was off today, so no information. I really did a poor job trying to explain what was going on. I hate rsd. it makes thinking so hard sometimes. Anyway, finally got the number of the new dr. and called his office. His staff said that I needed to make a new patient appt. and that the dr. wouldn't do the surgery till he had seen me first. She wanted me to call back and hit different numbers on the phone to get set up for an appt. Of course, that would take a while as a new pt. always takes longer to get in. All I could do was cry. I called the hospital back up, sobbing like a baby, and told the girl that I gave up, I didn't want the surgery, I would get someone else to do it, and that I was so tired of being upbeat and the pain was so bad, and the meds weren't working, etc. All I could do was cry. It was so out of character for me. Anyway, she said that she will call me back on Mon, when everyone was back, and they would get something done. We shall see.
I just can't believe that it has taken so long. And of course, with my daughters wedding in Sept and a house full of guest, I can't have it done till the end of September. even knowing that I had a date set would be so much easier to take...I could do one day at a time till then. So...I will wait till Mon and see what she can find out for me.

Just wanted to vent
Hugs
Mary

Awwwwwwww.. Mary!! Sweetie, I am so, so very sorry that you did not get that damn battery removed and placed where it should be! You need a attorney to sue their butts off. My God, hun, they put it in, why oh why all this false hope for nothing!! What is their damn problem anyway??!! The no good for nothing's make me sick and madder than all heck!! I'm sorry that you cried. I would have done the same thing, then got mad and told them, look, do something now, or you'll be hearing from my attorney!! Now, you have your daughter's wedding in more pain, pain, damn, pain!! Yes, it does make thinking real hard on us RSD patients, but it can also make us want to strangle "certain people" when they do really stupid, dumb stuff to us!! Mary, please, if they do NOT get back to you on Monday, you call up an attorney(A good one) and get 'em for pain, suffering and whatever else you can. You my dear friend have waited long enough, hun. I am sorry this happened to someone as dear as you!! Love, and I'll E.Mail.. P.M. you tomorrow. Love, Desi (Here are some gentle hugs, sweetie) (((Hugs))) (((Hugs)))) (((Hugs))))
