Hi Hutch,
I am so sorry to hear everything you have gone through. It saddens me to know you have lost so much. I'm glad you have faith in God, I know it's helped Reed and I through so much! I wish i were more familiar with WC settlements and could help you. I have no idea what they generally settle for..wish I did. I hate having to deal with them but Reed's doc says they have actually been one of the easier insurance companies he's dealt with. I wish you luck in you case, and with everything! This forum has been a Godsend to us, and hopefully you will gain alot of useful info here..so welcome!

I wish I could have had all those things you all are having trouble with lol.

I got hurt by a doctor but I kept on working. Owned a mortgage, a couple of car loans and some credit card bills. during the time I was working after the doctor oops, I picked up a keg of beer and hurt my back.

Went on workmans comp and everything was fine. Then the casino gen mgr decided My job performance had gone waaay down due to my injuries and let me go. Then they canceled my workmans comp, tribal casino's can do this.

So there I was not able to work, no WC, and cant do anything about what happened with the doctor oops. Lost the mortgage, car loans, and got threatening calls from the credit card companies. Applied for SSDI and went through a 5 year fight for benefits. Lost everything but my family through this ordeal.

Look on the bright side....this financial crises we are in wont hurt much at all...we are already battle hardened
