Default My Update

Hi Folks,

I have come up positive for a Proteus Mirabilis infection by biospy. This can cause lesions in the white and grey matter of the brain. I am wondering if this is the root of my RSD??? Hugs, Roz

Dear Curious,

Let me start my saying 8 years ago I was DX with RSD first by an ortho MD with at least 30 neuro's following the DX. I was given no hope at all, total disabled that's what they told me, and I was also told by the MD's to accept it. I had a fall in the kitchen that evening which caused this total RSD hell. My pain never stopped and was worse pain than childbirth. Can you imagine just having a fall and ending up with RSD??

Well, I always asked why. The day before RSD hit me I had run 3 miles, I have always liked anything atheletic. Again I was told please my the
MD's all we can do is treat your SX except the DX, I told them I needed my life back. You have no life with RSD. I needed to know why I had it.

I would also like to add I am not a A type personality at all. My husband laughed when he heard that one, because he is.

I 100% know I have a weak immune system, I was born that way. After
several Neuro. medical documents. I believed their was a root to my problem. I mentioned to several MD's if it was possiable for something to invaded my immune system and nerve system, several said it was possiable.

cont..

well anyway, if this bloat would take patients I would see him as soon as possiable. I heard his wife who is a scientists, had a rough leg condition that was cured.

I have gone from off the chart pain. Really all I have is mild burning pain at the levels 1-2 today, on the top of my head. I am not what I was, I believe their has been cell damage to my brain. But maybe I have learned more compassion along the way. I used to be really really bright, but if I can help anyone of you I will. I beg of you never ever stop searching to get get ride of the pain. God Bless You All

, Roz

Here are a couple of sites that talk about that kind of infection.

http://www.phageinternational.com/pathogens/proteus.htm

http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/226434-overview

Looks like the short line is it's an intestinal bacteria and can cause UTI's and other things in that vein. It's commonly found in long-term care facilities and hospitals and from patients with underlying diseases or compromised immune systems. Considered a community acquired infection.

Default Hi Roz!

Roz,
What about HBOT? I have read HBOT can destroy inflamation, viral and bacterial infections. Could you ask your Doc or do some research on your own?
All the best..Good to hear from you again...Di

Dear Galena,

I have no bladder problems at all. This infection can go into the brain and cause crystals with an calcium caronate in the blood as well(this could maybe explain the circulation problems I have had) also a vascular surgeon a couple years back, thought when I had the blue right limb that I was looseing calicium in my blood.

I am not in anyway saying this is your problem your anyone else's. With me, it's very likely that something has invaded my nervious system which caused my RSD. Much Love, Roz

Hi Di,

I have heard HBOT can kill alot of germs. I tried it about 4 1/2 years ago, I came out of the dive with bruises in rough shape. I still don't know why, but my guess is the operator didn't know what he was doing and put me at too low of pressure to quick. I really hope it helps you, I have read where it has helped some of us. Lots of Love, Roz
