Lori Lee,
I am so sorry that you had to have that kind of treatment and confrontation with the Doc. You have every right to ask for alternatives. Try to keep an open mind about this, he may just be moving out of the way to allow a better Doc to take care of you. Giving him the "Boot" may be the best thing you could have done. Hang in there.
