Hi Annie,
Thank you for the suggestions. I do try to change what I am doing fairly often, take breaks, and use my left hand when possible. But I should try to stretch my hand out more, especially when pipetting. The thermacare patches on my arm sound like a good idea too.
I am currently not on any meds for neuropathic pain. I was taking tegretol (carbamazepine) up until we decided to try baclofen for the dystonia. I didn't really want to be on both meds, and my neuropathic pain was fairly minimal then. Unfortunately, it's gotten worse since the second round of botox.
I will talk to my doctor at my appointment next week to see about getting back on something for the neuro pain.
