Default Just back from my PM

Well,
Just got back from my 2nd appt with my new PM. I liked him much better this time. I did apologize to him for my rudeness last time as I was still recovering from the MRSA and 2 scs surgeries in about 3 wks, nursing home, etc. I was telling him how bad my back was feeling from the surgeries, and he decided that we (I) needed to stop blaming rsd for everything that hurt. He wants a MRI of my back done. He thinks there are now several possible things going wrong. If the mri is clear, then he will go along with rsd. In the meantime, he has taken me off of topamax..no weight loss, and put me on Lyrica. taken me off of percs and put me on Opana 10 mg 2x a day, and then he's going to titrie me up from there, gave me valium for the mri. looking for an open one at the moment. He thinks with the age..surgeries, and all the I may have stonosis sp? and some bulging or scared discs. we will see. I just hope we can drop my pain level down. Thinking about it, I have to agree with him. Everything that hurts can't really be rsd. Just because it happens to be in the same area where I had the back surgery could just be one of those things. >>Well, better get going and find out about an open mri in the area
hugs
mary
