Question I should know the answer to this, but....
I should know the answer to this, but....

I had to have blood drawn and also get a tetanus shot today....

My right arm is now swollen...bright red and ice cold....

My question.... Could these have caused a flair up???

If so...does anyone know of any way to get it to calm down?????

Do you recall if they went thru the vein when drawing your blood? Hugs, Roz

abbie
yes this happens alot to me when i have to have blood work i try to use heat the most to try to help the blood circulate.. or epson salt baths this helps also.. hang in there

rsd DX 99 had since 98 full body and organ involement,fibro ,pelvic pain ,etc,,,,,,

I don't remember them going through a vein.... all I know was it turned bright red immediately where they drew blood and ice cold too....

Do you remeber if the blood went into the tube right away? Also did they wiggle the needle at all?

She did have to wiggle the needle after she put it into my arm to get the blood flowing.....

anytime you have blood taken have them use butterfly. it's smaller and less invasive/damaging to rsd sites
