I have severe pain on the sole of one foot and other classic signs of rsd (sweating, hair growth near trauma, pain that feels like I'm standing on hot coals, etc). I think it is classic rsd pain. But my question is when I push on it the pain become severe. Is this pushing and causing the pain also a sign of rsd or does the pushing (more than touching) then pain, not occur typically?

I'm not trying to be a wise guy. You're really proposing a difficult question.
RSD pain at rest is one thing, then, when it's "stressed" it of course gets worse.
So, perhaps, I'm misunderstanding the question?

If it hurts at rest, most rsd pain hurts worse, when pushed, or touched. Generally. "Colonel".


I'd watch for the spread to the opposite foot, "Mirroring", and ask your doctor about it more..... and what to do to prevent that.

Noah-This is exactly how my RSD started. Now have pain-sensitivity -numbness from knee down and in groin.I had no injury that I can remember-Did you have an injury?

There is also the possibility of a plantars wart on the bottom of your foot and is very common and painful.
