I get this on and off too. I get two forms one is like if you were rubbing your feet on carpet super fast and another is like what you state like bites . I notice the bites when I lay still in bed. I always though feel like things are moving in between my skin and body. That probably makes no sense. Anyhow a few thoughts are you on any new meds? Do yo uhave tightness? I ask cause I think for me some of the sensation is from being so tight as well like a circulation issue. I don't have fibro but have PN and have heard them talk about the pins feeling. The only aids I can think of is baths or epsom salt ones, supplements and meds that help calm down the nerves. Are you on any? I wish I had more answers and help for you cause I was not and I am sorry but can relate

Default Thanks

Lord Pete...That is the best offer I have had lately!
You, who know me, know that my life situation is really stressful right now. I don't think I know how to take a day off and do nothing.
I have had this for years off and on. I have searched the internet and have seen posts of many others who have this and there just doesn't seem to be an answer that I can find to rid myself of these annoying bug bite type feelings.
Daniella, I have not added any new meds to the mix. I have tried to search "vitamins or suppliments and pinpricks" on the internet, but found nothing. I do meditate everyday, practice yoga and eat a very good diet....except for the fresh baked sourdough bread......
They are much worse at night but I do feel them durring the day as well. I will try my anti anxiety meds tonite at your suggestion and see if that helps. I'll let you know.
Thank you all! Di

I wonder if it is a form of delayed pain as I someties get hit hard at night from the day. I am not sure if anxiety meds will help. Unless like for me some of my meds for anxiety are muscle relaxers and if it is a form of tention maybe I have no idea. Random ? do you take your anxiety meds as needed? Just wondering cause I take mine consistent but I guess I have heard of people taking them when they panic. It sounds like you have a healthy routine going. Hopefully it will just ease up on its own. I always prey for that with new symptoms. Many thoughts
