Default Jimmy didn't make it...
On Thursday they said there was no hope for him. On Friday he miraculously woke up, totally lucid and able to eat with his family, and talk with them. Then on Saturday evening he suddenly slipped into a coma and died.

I don't understand it. All I can hope is that it all happened for some truly special reason. It was a gift to his family. And maybe it was a chance for Jimmy to make his peace with God. That's what I really hope.

Again, I thank everyone who thought about him and cared. I just wish I could have spoken to him one more time, to make a peace of my own.

oh Idealist.....this must be so very hard for you. But you are right...we dont understand why there was that one day,but God does.

Take comfort in knowing your friend was able to connect with his family before he left. I believe he'll connect with you when the time is right. If he didn't know then, he knows now how much you cared about him.

idealist..... i am so very sorry for your loss..my heart hurts with yours and his family's... they and esp.. you are in my prayers..you are a great friend...don't doubt yourself...sometimes life throws so many obstacles in our way and we do the best we can...(need to learn this for myself too--know how difficult this is) take care of yourself..thinking of you.... moonstar
