M56 20150821 Beyond troubles and life torrents Those currents of BAD The efforts of others who labor Trying to make us feel bad Beyond temptation to strike out Deliver some withering blow Upon mind and body, these tormentors Give them something to know That the blessing of life is for sure not their toy Should not cause others weep This, our lives which spring forth Should instill hearts to leap We are each given here Time to bless all we touch Would we do this for joy, Would it cost, oh, too much In the spirit we may know That to give means, be fulfilled Through the life lessening strife Love must burst forth and thrill The hearts who have known Many tears, hurts, and pains Because we dared travel their way Joy comes live there again It is precious to see Smile anew crease sorrowed face Sharing blessings, not hurts Gathered here in this place |
