....for our family and especially for my husband as his mom died unexpectedly this morning of a massive heart attack.

He is the only child of two only children, and his mom was his last living blood relative so it has been very hard on him.

She has been in so much pain from crippling arthritis and many falls, and so I am so glad she is finally painfree and with God.

My mother suffered a massive heart attack in MAY 06 and discovered she also had breast cancer as a result. I trulyfeel your pain.


My father died 11 years ago please may i share a poem i wrote for him.

Can i make it through this day, will my heart , and mind hold out.
Will the tears subside today, ...and if need be can i shout.
Will i be able to carry you aloft inside your wooden box?
Will time stand still, no 'tick no tock' upon the church yard clock.
Will you know how much i loved you, and honestly did care
The thought of never seeing you again, is hard for me to bare
Will my eulogy to you, describe the your life, and fill the church with tears
Will the congregation mourn your loss, there your friends, your colleagues, your peers.
The time has come to say goodbye, with a rose in hand and a tear in my eye.
i wish you peace and rest forever, my one true friend, the best forever.
Let the church-bells ring ,and herald your leaving of this earth.

Oh Cheri, I am so so sorry for your loss. You are such a wonderful soul and I always look forward to your posts but this one I wish you did not have to post. Please tell your husband how deeply sorry I am. I love my mom so much and cannot imagine the pain your family is feeling right now. I will pray for you that God will wrap you and yours in his warm blanket of love and take special care of you as you go through this difficult time in your lives. I will not have the computer untill Friday night as hubby is away. Please Cheri, know that I am thinking of you and praying for you each and every day.
