Hi all, was wondering if you could pray for my dear Dad, hes in a nursing home, and today had a fall, nothing broken, but still not good. My poor Mum has just gone to see her twin sister(about 250km away), so she doesnt have to rush back, Im going in to keep an eye on him. So Ill be off the air for a few days, but when I get back Ill let you know how he is. Thanks all very much.

My nextdoor neighbor's husband's condition is similar to Terri Shiavo (brain dead/coma) and was in a nursing home. He "fell" out of his wheelchair, and they claimed it was an accident. Then they tried to justify it to my friend that they were too busy with other patients.

The folks at the nursing home had to call security to escort my loud and angry neighbor out of there by force because she was screaming "WHAT IF THAT WERE YOUR HUSBAND?"

Naturally, my neighbor took him out of there and she cares for him by herself. She's way past the point of exhaustion, but so far she hasn't had any "accidents" with him.

Your father is in my prayers.

I'm sorry your about your dad's fall Redtail and of course I'll include him in my prayers.

Hi all, thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers.
I have just got home and am exhausted. Dad is doing well, he broke a couple of ribs and tore some ligaments in his right shoulder, but is doing ok. The nursing home he is in is really wonderful, the staff are all very nice, and caring, I was even given a very nice roast lamb lunch on sunday, so I could stay with Dad while he ate, very yummy. so thanks again
