The day after tomorrow, the courts will be removing my daughter's parental rights and allowing her 2 children (ages 2 and 3) to be adopted by the foster mom who has been caring for them the last 20 months. (She is a good lady and loves the kids - as they love her as well).

My daughter has struggled with mental health issues, immaturity and bad decisions that have lead to this.

She has been hospitalized 3 times just since January with overdoses.

Please pray for her. Her actions have gotten her to this point, but it is still a heartbreak and a terrible loss. I pray that she will be able to move through the grief and find a strength and reason to live on the other side of this wall of sadness.

All of her family and friends have done all we can humanly do. It is really now up to her and God.

Wow, that hits close to home. I read your post and realized how close my own daughter came to being in a similar situation several years ago.

Glad you are okay with the foster/adoptive Mom and hope she will always be good to your cute grandkids.

Prayers for the children, your daughter and YOU. This has got to be a heartbreaking situation for you - I pray that God wraps His loving arms around you and gives you comfort and peace that the right thing is being done for all concerned.
